## Sales team org chart template with customer segment focus

An organizational chart structured by customer segment divides a sales team into sub-teams, each of which is responsible for a specific group of customers. This type of structure allows for a more focused and specialized approach to selling, as each sub-team can tailor their sales strategy and efforts to the specific needs and preferences of their designated customer segment. The chart is usually headed by a sales director or general manager, with team leads for each customer segment reporting to them. Underneath the team leads, there are sales representatives or account managers who are responsible for managing relationships and closing deals with individual customers within the segment.

This type of structure can be effective for organizations that serve multiple distinct customer segments with different needs, such as B2B and B2C companies. It can also be useful for companies that operate in diverse industries and markets, as each sub-team can have specialized knowledge and expertise relevant to their customer segment. It also allows team to be agile and improve customer segmentation, customer engagement, lead generation and target sales revenue.
