Jacob D. Chase is the Founder and CEO of The INFIN, a company focused on bringing “investment strategy to human capital” by measuring value creation and contribution inside organizations. His work sits at the intersection of performance measurement, incentives, and organizational design—asking how teams can make contribution more visible and rewards more aligned to outcomes.

Before launching The INFIN, Jacob was Managing Partner at DRGinvest Holdings, where he helped expand the business into syndicated investing, brokerage, property management, digital marketing, and construction. Earlier in his career, he spent about a decade on Wall Street, including time in Lazard’s restructuring group and later in an investing role at Angelo, Gordon & Co.

Across these experiences, Jacob developed a deep interest in how “value” is created, how it’s recognized, and why many organizations struggle to evaluate performance fairly. He brings a systems-and-incentives lens to leadership conversations—challenging traditional performance reviews, exploring what true meritocracy could look like in practice, and highlighting the trade-offs leaders must manage to avoid turning measurement into bureaucracy or gaming.
