Once you've built your org structure, you'll most likely want to add Superfunctions, Functions and Activities to your teams.
Before we get into how to add them, you may be thinking "what are Superfunctions, Functions and Activities?"
Allocate Functions and Superfunctions
As we mentioned in the 'how to build your structure' article, there's often more than one way to perform an action in Functionly.
You can drag and drop individual Functions from the Sidebar onto a team or alternatively you can drag and drop the whole Superfunction. To remove them from a team simply drag and drop the Superfunction or Function to the trashcan which appears whenever you drag them.
As you drag Functions onto teams you'll notice the red dots next to the Functions disappear. This is because a team is now accountable for these Functions. When there are red dots next to a Function, on the people chart, it means that no team is accountable for that Function.
As you allocate Functions to teams, you're also allocating any Activities associated with that Function. To view what Activities are associated you can click on any Function and it will bring up a new modal with the Activities listed.
Create or edit Superfunctions, Functions and Activities
To create your own Superfunctions, Functions and Activities scroll to the bottom of the Functions list on the left-hand side and select 'Edit Functions'. This will bring up the 'Edit Functions' modal and if you scroll to the bottom of this list you'll see the 'Add Superfunction' button. You can create a Function using the 'Add Function' icon and by clicking on the name of the Superfunction you can then add an Activity.
You can disable any of the pre-generated Superfunctions by using the toggle next to them and disable the Functions by clicking the three dots next to them.
Doing this with your own Superfunctions or Functions will permanently delete them.
To edit a Superfunction, Function or Activity simply click on the Superfunction title when the 'Edit Functions' modal is up and you can click on any of the fields to edit.
